Experience
Step One: Expecting
Get in touch with me to share your due date, and I’ll add it to my calendar! Maternity photos are usually taken in the third trimester, around 34 weeks. Whether you want something fancy or a cozy, casual shoot at home, we’ll make it work! After your little one arrives and you’re settling in, we’ll plan an in-home newborn session, ideally within the first two weeks, to capture those early, precious moments.

Step Two: Itty Bitty Baby
I’ll come to your home, bring you coffee, and photograph your beautiful new family. No need to stress about any “mess”—I totally get what those first few weeks are like (hello, chaos!). The nursery and living room are usually perfect spots for family photos. I’ll guide you with easy, gentle posing to capture everyone looking their best. And if you’ve got older kiddos running around, don’t worry—I love their wild energy and will make sure it’s all part of the fun!

Step Three: Hopefully a Nap
That same day, I’ll send over a sneak peek so you can start showing off your adorable baby to everyone (even those random strangers at the grocery store)! You’ll receive the full gallery within six weeks of your session, though it’s usually ready much sooner than that.

Frequently asked questions
All of your high-res images will be delivered in an online gallery within 6 weeks. You’ll have the option to order prints directly through the gallery or download your images to print wherever you prefer!
You better believe I celebrate all people. Every race, ethnicity, religion (or non-religion), gender, and sexual identity/orientation—everyone is welcome here. Discrimination of any kind has no place in my world. Everyone deserves to feel seen, respected, and celebrated.
Would you believe me if I said a lot of my couples worry about this? Don’t stress—I don’t expect you to be a professional model... until I’m done with you LOL! Being in front of a camera can feel super vulnerable, but I promise to never make you feel anything less than you. You can expect guided posing to help you feel connected and look your best!
I don’t own a studio (yet!), but there are plenty of amazing studios available around the city if that’s something you’re interested in. Just reach out, and we can book one together!
For a 45-minute session, you can expect around 60-100 edited images delivered within 6 weeks. Every session is unique, so this is an average, not a guarantee, but it gives you a good idea of what to expect!
Colors that always look great? Neutrals and jewel tones! But the most important thing is to pick an outfit you absolutely love and feel confident in. You definitely don’t want to be pulling or tugging at your clothes all session. I’ve created a Pinterest inspo board to help get your ideas flowing—check it out! https://pin.it/7jJxmZ4
